Wang Zhiwu is a contemporary Chinese artist and a member of the Shenzhen Artists Association. His works explore the subtle relationship between human nature and the animal world. Best known for his distinctive animal figures with exaggerated forms and piercing eyes, his paintings carry a visual language that is at once playful, symbolic, and deeply thought provoking

Animals lie at the heart of Wang’s practice, inspired by his lifelong affection for them and the purity he sees in their existence. To Wang, animals embody a simplicity and emotional honesty often lost in modern life. Beneath their whimsical appearance, his subjects become quiet reflections of the human condition, inviting viewers to pause, rediscover innocence, and contemplate life with renewed clarity.
