Saenkom Chansrinual

Born 1967, Amnat Charoen Province, Thailand

Saenkom Chansrinual is a contemporary Thai artist best known for his monumental mountain landscapes and highly distinctive sculptural surfaces. Using a self-developed technique, he melts solid acrylic, then squeezes and carefully layers it onto canvas, creating richly textured relief surfaces.

Built layer by layer, his mountain formations rise physically from the canvas, a striking three-dimensional presence finished with metallic tones of gold and silver that lend his works greater depth and visual richness.

Through his celebrated Grand Mountain series, he pays tribute to the grandeur and quiet power of nature. His works evoke strength, permanence, and stillness, inviting viewers into a contemplative space where the vastness of the landscape offers reflection and inner calm.
